How to post a useful Thailand bargain or price check
A useful bargain report needs enough detail for another person to compare it. Include the town or district, month, exact item or service, quantity, what was included and any condition such as a loyalty card, long contract or limited time. Remove names, phone numbers, booking references and payment details from photographs. For accommodation, state contract length, deposit, utility rates and whether the room shown is the exact unit. For food, state dish, portion, drink and service charge. For transport, state route, time and whether it was shared, metered, app-based or negotiated. Avoid “cheapest in Thailand” unless you can prove a broad current comparison. A better title is specific: “60-baht lunch near X, checked August 2026.” If an offer has an end date, put it near the top and update the post when it expires. BahtStretcher automatically compresses uploaded images, but crop out unrelated faces and private information before uploading. Honest detail is more valuable than hype. Checked 27 August 2026. Prices, routes and opening times can change, so confirm with the named operator before travelling or signing a contract.
